Everything Club Penguin: Help Show Your Support!

Hi there, penguins!

I thought today would be the perfect day to remind you on how you can help show your support for on Twitter! :) If you're a fan and would like to help spread weekly Club Penguin cheats, tutorials, sneak peeks, soundtracks, and more, then this is the post for you. Below are three simple steps to setting up a Twitterfeed on your Twitter account if you have one so that whenever I post something on this website it will share on your Twitter account for all of your followers to check out, and it might even let you know when something's new on Club Penguin! Cool, huh?

Step #1 - Signing In or Creating an Account: To show your support on Twitter, we're going to be using a cool website called Twitterfeed. You can find this website at If you don't have an account already made with Twitter feed, you'll need to create a new one. To make an account, simply click the "Register Now" button on the home page. To sign up, all you will need to do is enter in your email address if you have one of your own, a password to sign into your account with, fill in the captcha, and then click "Create Account". After you click "Create Account" you will need to sign into your email address to verify the creation of the account. After you have verified the account, you will be able to sign in! At the homepage, scroll down a little until you see the sign-in section at the left-hand side of the screen. Just fill in your email address and your password to sign in, then click the "Login" button.

Step #2 - Creating the Feed: Now that you have an account, it's time to actually create the feed! After you're signed in, click the "Create New Feed" button at the top right-hand corner of the page. Once you have done so, you will be able to create a feed. Choose a title for this feed for my website. It can be called anything, it doesn't matter. I called mine, "Everything Club Penguin" so I could identify which feed is for my website. In the "Blog URL or RSS Feed URL" section, paste the following link:

I know it's pretty long, I honestly didn't mean to do that when I created my site's feed, but it's still helpful.

  • Once you fill out those two sections, press the "Advanced Settings" button to open up the advanced settings. These settings will allow you to change how the feed will look on your Twitter account when a new post is made. First, in the "Update Frequency" section, make it to where it says "Check for new posts Every 30 minutes And post up to 5 new update(s) at a time." That will allow all of the posts I make appear in your timeline.
  • The "Post Content" section doesn't really matter. I made mine to where it says "Title Only" because I don't like post descriptions in my timeline, but that's up to you. A post description will include a small portion of the beginning of the post I make on my blog. The title only feature will only show the title of my post, which is what I have set.
  • Lastly, for the Post Prefix and Post Suffix, you can change what is at the beginning of the feed on Twitter and at the end of the feed on Twiter. When I make a new post, my posts show up as "NEW POST - (TITLE HERE) (LINK HERE)" I made my Post Prefix says, "NEW POST - " and I did not add a Post Suffix. Once you have filled in that information, click "Continue to step 2"

Step #3 - Publishing Your Feed: Now that you have all of the tiny details out of the way, it's time to finally publish your feed with step #3. You will need to connect this feed with your Twitter account. To do so, you must be logged into your Twitter account already. Once you are, click "Twitter" under "Available Services". Of course you could set up this feed with other services too, but this post is about Twitter! :)

Once you click Twitter, press the big blue "Authenticate Twitter" button to verify that you will allow this feed on your Twitter account. Once you authenticate Twitter on this feed, just click "All Done!" button. Once you have done so, you will have successfully created a Twitter feed for my website.

Thanks for showing your support, if you already have a Twitter feed set up with my website, or if you're going to make one. Be sure to leave your comments and opinions below, and don't forget to check back for more Club Penguin cheats, tutorials, sneak peeks, soundtracks, and more for 2014!
